Recommended Workshop Supplies: Oil Colors: Transparent Oxide Red (if unable to acquire, Burnt Sienna will do), Cadmium Red Light, Thalo Rose (also Alizarin Crimson will do), Yellow Ochre, Hansa Yellow Light (Cadmium Yellow will also do), Titanium White, Viridian Green, Kings Blue, and Ultramarine Blue.

These colors will cover all the exercises we will be doing. I use only flat brushes, numbers 2,4,6,8, and 10. I use Princenton Catalyst brushes, and a large palette knife along with two smaller ones.

The canvas panels are oil primed linen by Centurion. Students may use sheets of canvas or whatever is to their liking. I recommend sizes 11 x 14 and 12 x 16″ for this workshop. Along with 5 small pieces of canvas 6 x 8″ for landscape exercises.

My medium that I use is Gamblin’s Galkyd. That’s regular Galkyd, not lite galkyd.

We will be doing still life set ups and some landscape pieces.
